Brief History

Cagliari Est is a Rotary Club, founded on April 12, 1973, in the city of Cagliari, the capital of the Sardinia region. It is part of the well-known international organization called "Rotary International," along with over 33,000 clubs worldwide.

These clubs, located in more than 200 countries and geographical areas, are apolitical, non-denominational, and open to all cultures and beliefs.

As stated in the motto "Service Above Self," the main objective of Rotary is service, in the community, in the workplace, and around the world.

 

Useful Information

The Club meets every Tuesday of the month at 20:30 at T Hotel - Cagliari, Via dei Giudicati 66, tel. 07047400.

It is part of District 2080 of Rotary International, which includes Rome-Lazio and Sardinia.

Over the years, it has produced three Governors:

    Franco Cabras (1993-1994)
    Enrico Marcialis (1997-1998)
    Luciano Di Martino (2009-2010)
